This is an augmented reality app where people can scan the logo of Coca Cola to reveal the hidden controversies and injustices that the company has tried to cover up. In it, there are news clippings and audio clips of Coca Cola’s transgressions such as ground water depletion in India, health hazards, animal testing, and boycotting. That way, people can decide for themselves if they want to drink Coca-Cola.
How it Works: Images of each controversy is hidden at first in a collage that makes up the logo through optical illusion. Then, as you step further back you see a more complete picture of Coca Cola as different scenes appear spelling out conflicts in environment, health, and economy. This is for a fine art class called Experimental Game Design at Carnegie Mellon.
